Avoid this, ML is shit!
I stumbled upon a short video of Qiao Jia Le and Tian Tian Yi last year and started watching it because of the leads' good looks, but let me just say three times: ML is Shit! ML is Shit! ML is Shit! I personally think ML never deserve the FL.ML loved the FL for ten years, but stayed with the SFL for ten years. ML is truly the most useless CEO, he's completely useless.
Avoid this for your blood pressure.

? A LOVE THAT SURVIVED TEN YEARS OF SILENCE
OVERALL IMPRESSION🌟This was a sincere slow-burn romance about two people who had loved one another since their school days but remained separated by insecurity, social differences and everything they were too frightened to say. Although the story used several familiar clichés, the leads’ emotional history made their relationship feel genuine. Their greatest obstacle was not another romantic rival—it was their shared belief that they were not yet worthy of the other.
WHAT I LIKED💖
• The school flashbacks were beautifully placed and made it clear that the leads’ feelings had existed for years. Their reunion ten years later therefore felt like the continuation of an unfinished love rather than a sudden attraction.
• I understood why the ML held back when they were younger. He worried that his status prevented him from providing for the FL or protecting her if his family opposed their relationship. Instead of giving her false hope, he worked hard to become someone capable of standing beside her.
• The ML was gentle and respectful. He never bullied the FL, ignored her rejection or forced himself upon her. He gave her space even when he desperately wanted to be closer.
• The FL’s emotional distance was rooted in years of psychological damage. Her mother and bother had constantly belittled her, leaving her convinced that everyone else was more deserving than she was. Her inability to confess her feelings was therefore painful but understandable.
• The ML’s sister was one of the best characters. She protected the FL from cruelty, supported the relationship and repeatedly became the bridge that prevented misunderstandings from causing even greater damage.
• The leads respected one another’s boundaries, and their attraction developed naturally from the affection they had carried since youth.
WHAT I DISLIKED⚠️
• The FL’s mother was appallingly cruel. Her treatment of the FL was so cold and degrading that their supposed family relationship immediately felt suspicious.
• The SFL was equally poisonous, jealous and entitled. She behaved as though everyone existed to serve her and participated in bullying that became disturbingly vicious.
• Watching the FL accept blame and mistreatment so easily was frustrating, even though her damaged self-image explained why she struggled to defend herself.
• Many of the leads’ problems could have been resolved through honest communication. However, their silence also felt consistent with their fears: he doubted his ability to protect her, while she doubted her right to be loved by him.
• I disliked how the FL was pressured into ending her pregnancy and how little effort was shown to explore other possibilities or seek help before such a serious decision was made. I believe that life is precious and that abortion should never be presented as a quick or easy solution, particularly when coercion prevents the woman from considering every available option.
PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCES🎭
• Qiao Jia Le and Tian Tian Yi created a believable connection between two people whose affection had survived years of separation. Their restrained interactions suited the slow-burn romance.
• The flashbacks added valuable emotional context without overwhelming the present-day story.
• The pacing remained surprisingly quick despite the gradual romantic development, balancing painful family conflict with tender moments between the leads.
• The supporting characters served clear purposes: the villains intensified the FL’s insecurity, while the ML’s sister provided warmth, protection and much-needed common sense.
FINAL THOUGHTS💭
This was ultimately a love story about timing, self-worth and emotional courage. The ML spent years becoming capable of offering the FL a secure future, while the FL had to unlearn the belief that she was unworthy of sharing it. Their love had already endured ten years; what they lacked was the courage to speak honestly and choose one another. Familiar though the storyline may be, its tenderness, respectful ML and heartfelt portrayal of enduring love made it worth watching.
