I truly enjoy watching our leads

Segye has finally realised that the woman in his dreams looks like Seori. Oh, what a vivid dream it must have been to leave such an after-effect, making him even question Seori’s identity now! But I believe all of those past-life dreams are quite vivid… however, it makes me wonder—did Segye start having those dreams only after Danshim entered Seori’s body, or did he have them before, too? I cannot remember if this was ever mentioned.

Adding to that, I love the sincerity and honesty between our leads. Segye becomes so innocent when he is around Seori, and sometimes so clueless when it comes to interpreting her actions and reactions. And she is often pretty much the same. So, do I like it? Yes, because it really makes the whole romcom aspect so much sweeter for me! One of the most adorable things for me, probably, is his endless praise of her beauty. She’s the most precious jewel in his eyes, and I think every man should look at his woman that way.

As for our villains—they keep creating obstacles and muddying the waters for our leads. So far, Segye and Seori have dealt with them masterfully, whether through accidental luck or their own efforts. It’s quite interesting to see how the villainy will play out, because Mundo and Mo Taehui actually have different goals for their meddling. Mundo wants Seori to be with Segye so he can use her to hurt him; Taehui, however, wants to separate them so she can get Segye for herself. And neither of them will definitely be okay with the other’s aim. This is going to be quite interesting to watch when the villainy escalates.

the truth finally comes out!!

Whew, okay, we have finally reached the point where Danshim's past and her present in the future have finally collided. Personally, does it feel a little unnatural for it to be revealed via Segye's dreams? Kind of, but not really? They established his dreams from the first two episodes and then used his medication to put it to the wayside. Honestly, the reveal had to have come from him, because there was absolutely no way Danshim would have admitted that part of her past to him. And instead of wasting more episodes on Danshim never telling him that she's really time slipped from the past, the narrative instead forces her to confront it via Segye. Which works for the plot! Because at the end of the day, this is a fantasy romcom. You can't build stakes in the past and not have it acknowledged in the present.

Our villain side characters are doing well in providing conflict. They do just enough to hinder and annoy, but it never feels like either Segye or Danshim loses out to them. Throughout it all, our protagonists maintain their dignity in every interaction, which is what i like most about them. Is it annoying as hell? Yeah!!! But would the story be as interesting without them? Absolutely not.

Seeing as we only have six (!!) more episodes to go, I am genuinely curious to see how the villains will step up their villainy, and how long it will take for Segye to believe Danshim wholeheartedly about her past. He's only ever seen her as a modern woman who's into method acting, so I'm looking forward to see how he deals with her complete and total truth.

Kopiko

I'm in awe, they did it again! How are they making this story so captivating? This might be a spoiler, but Choi Mun-Do has a son, who he is probably trying to protect from the world, I have a feeling that he might be a good dad, so I want to put my faith in him. Seo-Ri and Se-Gye are so good together. In those flashbacks, my heart broke when Seo-Ri gave in to the Crown prince's demands, the Daegun looked distraught. I am so glad they got a second chance. Mo Tae-hee's villain role is a bit soft for my liking, I might be biased from her previous role, but she seems too sweet.

SCREW THE WORLD !!!

I'm literally obsessed with their chemistry. I can't wait for the next ep. The transition between the past and present was soooo smoooth. I loved it. I'm just confused why she showed a trusting face to the emperor even after knowing what he did to her beloved. I was misdirected about her opinion on the emperor by the early episodes.
