Duan Zi Ang and Xiao Shu He are bound by love and hate, clashing repeatedly. Even as Zi Ang admits Shu He is the only one he cares for, Shu He cannot forgive his actions. Meanwhile, Huo Ying is captured in Jibei but secretly informs Shu He of a rescue plan during the Lantern Festival.

the doctor is like a freakin cockroach, u can't get rid of him, he keeps coming back like a bad penny & the most annoying part ,he acts like he cares so much for Shu He (which he might in his own way) as if he is trust worthy - but hard for me to buy it, when u see him with Huo Ying. who since he came clean to Shu He, has turned into a more loyal individual to Shu He, then his so called doctor friend is. **********************************************************************************************************************Zi Ang on the other hand has gone crazy, the only thing (person) on his mind is Shu He, dude's obsessed. there weren't any lines he wasn't ready to cross just to have Shu He, now he will now destroy (his kingdom) everything he built & the whole country to keep Shu He. dude is possessed by the need to be with Shu He & given how he has him under house arrest & in shackle's, seems like he wants to dominate Shu He in every way possible. ****************************************************************************ironically after Zi Ang conquering his land & dethroning him even if Shu He wanted to be with Zi Ang his pride & conscience would allow him. so doubt his gonna have a happy ending. maybe i will be wrong -

Shu He promised Duan Zi Ang that if he ever did anything to hurt the South Kingdom, he would never forgive him. Despite how much love lies between them, I don't think Shu He has let go of this promise. Heart break for Duan Zi Ang is coming....

ep 10 was so good like duan ziang can say a lot of words but his eyes will always betray him, why did cupid have to be so mean and now it’s even sadder bc they were teenagers before all that happeneps 8,9 and 10

After watching Episode 10, it reminds me of Episode 8 of the fragile dream we once held so tightly, yet could never reach.
ShuHe whispered with trembling hope, “Just as we promised, we’ll escape to the woods, wandering mountains and rivers side by side.”
ZiAng, his eyes shining with fragile devotion, replied, “Of course I will. When that day comes, we’ll build a small courtyard in the forest, and beneath the trees, we’ll hold a simple wedding, just the two of us.”
What a dream it was. So gentle. So impossible.
We were born in the wrong place, within the palace where every smile hides chains, where crowns are heavier than life itself. We never wanted to be emperors. We only wished to love freely, to trade the weight of kingdoms for the peace of each other’s arms.
But fate is cruel.
You bleed from the guards’ merciless blows.
I burn from the poison that eats me within.
Two bodies breaking in different ways,
yet both bound by the same love.
If there is another life beyond this one, let us meet not as princes, not as heirs to thrones,
but as two ordinary souls who can finally live as we dreamed, a quiet home in the woods,

I was wondering how Xiao Shu and Duan Zi would reconcile and fall back in love. I really wanted this arc to be realistic and authentic. In my opinion that was accomplished in episode 10. Now I just wish the series was longer. 2 episodes of them falling back in love would be delightful. With just 2 episodes left in the series I hope the ending feels complete and not rushed.
