what a mess... but the Crown Prince getting…

what a mess... but the Crown Prince getting greedy & a bit crazy was all down to his father. the King kept ignoring his bad behavior - why? not shocking that sooner or later he would get tired of waiting for the King to "pass on" naturally & take things into his own hands. Gu his "teacher" was conniving & was up to no good, but the King appointed him as teacher to his sons?!? was the King that blind, to the reality of who the people around him were??? well he paid for this ignorance. *********************btw found it so ironic that the Crown Prince was the one to look at Huo Ying face, while dying. which was what he wanted him to suffer, as i think he knew that Huo Ying was infatuated with him (i think). but given his reaction to Shu He saying "us" (regarding him & Zi Ang), makes u wonder if the Crown Prince felt more then brotherly love for Shu He. weird but not unheard off & they were half-siblings (not that it makes it ok, thus his going crazy in frustration lol)********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************also, i get Shu He being shocked finding out that his childhood buddy (that he has fallen in-love with) was actually a citizen of a foreign country. but i didn't get him siding with his psychotic brother, that was rampaging & haven murdered their father, was now thirsty for his blood. & even if he was so hurt by Zi Ang lie & willing to sacrifice himself in despair - was the Crown Prince a worthy & good ruler he would wish on his subjects?!? didn't the logic there.

A Symphony of Betrayal, Love and Heartbreak

Episode 8 left me completely heartbroken. The Crown Prince’s betrayal was devastating, turning against his own father, the King, and then setting his sights on his own brother in his ruthless pursuit of the throne. Such cruelty is not uncommon in kingdoms, yet witnessing it unfold carried a heavy weight. And when the Crown Prince was finally stabbed and sent falling from the bridge, it was Huo Ying who caught him, holding him one last time. Seventeen years together as master and servant, yet beneath it all, there was love. To watch the man he had dedicated his life to die in his arms must have been unbearable. And then came the final kiss between DuanZiang and ShuHe, a kiss so hauntingly beautiful yet unbearably tragic. It was not a kiss of beginning, but one of ending, sealing their fate with sorrow. Two princes, bound by love but separated by kingdoms, both destined to become kings, yet their union could only break them. That single moment carried more pain than words could capture. This episode was filled with grief, betrayal, and love that cannot be, and I cannot wait for the next episode, though my heart is still aching from this one.
