Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight (2025)

Tan bella que duele.

Me perturba mucho la manera en que una película puede ser tan preciosa y, a la vez, tan dolorosa.

Me conmueve demasiado este tipo de historias, que realmente no son muy complejas, solo nos muestran lo simple que pueden ser los sentimientos, y lo complejos que son sus efectos secundarios. Muestra la amistad, lo importante y bonito que es tener en quienes refugiarte.

La idea de que no importa si tu cerebro no lo recuerda, tu corazón y tu cuerpo no olvidan las vivencias que tenemos. Quedan grabadas allí donde nuestras memorias no son suficientes.

Tiene que ser horrible conocer a alguien y conectar de forma impresionante. Enamorarte y querer compartir toda la felicidad que puedan. Pero ser consciente de que al despertar todo esto simplemente se desvanecerá. No importa cuántas veces lea sus vivencias, nunca recuperar esos recuerdos… es demasiado trágico.

Tengo que dejar de ver este tipo de películas.

Don't watch this movie if you don't want to suffer

The movie is excellent in every way—the soundtrack, especially the song “Good Night Good Dream” by Nerd Connection, the characters and their backstories are very well developed, and the actors deliver great performances. The pacing is incredible; the film handles the progression of events really well. The plot itself is very strong, and if you hadn’t already suffered with this couple, the final act will completely break you.

I love how it portrays young love and the sacrifice and effort it requires. At least for me, it created a strong connection with the protagonists. The movie is truly great, but if you don’t like to suffer or cry, you’d better not watch it.
