Episode Title: Grudges Shall Always Be Avenged
Chi Cheng competes in an underground snakefighting ring, but is forced to take on his fathers business. Wu Suo Wei is determined to change his life after his girlfriend Yue Yue broke up with him, and set up a stall as a business venture, but he runs into Chi Cheng. As Chi Cheng and Yue Yue appear together, Wu Suo Wei believes them to be a couple, and sets out on a plan to get back at his ex by getting involved with Chi Cheng.

Pathetic grape culture normalisation.The guy kept screaming to spare him but the so called romantic lead went ahead anyway...and fully (knowingly) participated as well as planned in the act very cruelly.

The first time I watched this episode (yes I stopped watching for a while because of work and I am rewatching the first few episodes) I didn't really get the hype. Now, rewatching it I don't understand myself. It was such a great one, you can feel how they despise each other and how each other thinks. Plus, I fell in love with all of the 4 main characters. They're all relatable in their own ways and I can't wait to know more about them all.

Good start. I hope this gets better and better in every episode . The chemistry is on point. Enemy to lover, possessive boyfriend, and a little bit toxic relationship, hell yeah, count me in. This series has every aspect I want. Honestly, it’s more than I expected.

I'm sorry but what the hell was that r*pe set up????? It just feels like it's going to be full of red (black) flags but nobody cares about it just like with KinnPorsche. Except for this scene, the first episode was quite alright. Chinese dramas aren't my cup of tea bc the dubbing perturbs me so much but I still wanted to try it. I'm still going to give episode 2 a chance.

Superb series you should watch it the stories amazing the plot is amazing the chemistry between the actors they are superb. Now I am fan of this series and i will highly highly recommend this series to others. And people should watch it no nonsense nothing it the story is something that should be nice and here the story is amazing the actors their acting is amazing too.

I'm not in the fun club.At the beginning, I should mention that I was invited to write reviews for some series.I chose one South Korean series, one Thai of course, and one Chinese. I see that it is not surprising that South Korea won the Oscar. Thai series have very poor potential, which is mostly reflected in the acting, the actors are not academically trained, the directors too. The scripts are very bad. The plot does not develop. There is no tension or interest. Then there are Chinese series, where there is a large population, there should be the best actors, screenwriters... however, I am very disappointed. The best series are South Korean.

I caved and paid for the viki plus shit. So rich trust falls for some broke guy. Interesting set up. I also love, ignoring the poor kid, when characters are gay not jist for their lovers. Okay bye!

It was a drama with a very different beginning for me. Chi Cheng's love for snakes is an example of this. Wu Suo Wei and Jiang Xiao Shuai are very cute, and Chi Cheng is handsome. I shipped Jiang Xiao Shuai with the boy who came to the clinic. Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei's frequent encounters must be due to their cancer. It was a normal episode, I hope China doesn't surprise in other episodes

not even a sec in & the snakes were enough for me to recognize this, OMG this is a HILAIOUS web-novel & i found it cause i saw the BL that came out in 2015, Falling in Love with a Rival - which was freakin funny. just too short - that's why i searched out the web novel it was adapted from & it was worth the search(!) even though it was only translated until page 195 (so waiting for updates & then life happened & forgot all about it). *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************this wasn't the same & yet not that different, but more importantly not bad - love Wu Suo Wei, he less of a goofball then the OG BL & the novel character's, but he's sweeter & i like the Doc too. & as per usual (in every version) i always thought that the healthier option for Wu Suo Wei was to end up with Xiao Shuai, the Doctor & not the snake, loving psycho. but that isn't how the plot's gonna develop. so we in for a wild ride, if we got to see (kinda) the punishment for the guy that helped Chi Cheng's parents kidnap his snakes. idk if i am ready to see everything that i read come "alive" - as it was pretty dark & mmmmm "dirty". so will have to see how explicit this gonna get. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************mentioning Chi Cheng, the character in the book is manlier & burlier then the actor playing this character, so was wondering if i will buy Tian Xu Ning as Chi Cheng. but Tian Xu Ning did a good job selling his sociopathic persona. enough that by the end of the ep i was disturbed enough to worry about Suo Wei - who sadly is a reckless fool that can't sense danger & whatever u feel about Chi Cheng, he is very dangerous guy who has a sadistic side & the cherry on top is also a bit crazy lol...

After 10 minutes I gave up because it's very tedious and difficult and disgusting to watch snakes in a series that is supposed to be a romance if nothing else.No matter how hard someone tries to show something extravagant, only in sci-fi and horror genres are snakes used, for some scenes it's fine, but watching it for the first 10 minutes is not my cup of tea.Animal conservationists will have their hands full after watching two snakes fight in a terrarium, I don't know about the rest.Although...how romantic do you have to be to involve all those snakes in a romance? I'm sorry, but this is a complete failureNot to mention the acting in the first 10 minutes. The director too

Staying authentic to the novel is pretty hard these days, but these guys did it. Especially love the acting of second couple.
