Boys Vibe (2025)

Worst dating show I’ve ever seen.

I started watching this because I’m a big fan of LGBT+ dating shows—especially Asian ones. I’ve watched nearly all of them and was really looking forward to this one… but what a disappointment.

The only positive thing I can say is: the guys are good-looking. That’s it.

Everything else? Terrible. There’s way too much advertising, and the entire show feels like it was made just to promote new BL actors. There are no real dates, no meaningful one-on-one moments. Sometimes it feels like the cast is pretending to like each other just to follow the script—but they can’t even stick to it. The show forgets it’s supposed to be about romance.

Only one person seemed to have real feelings: Tino. He felt sincere. The rest? Fully scripted.

Episodes are too short, and there’s no emotional build-up. In Thailand, we’ve already had reality shows that promote BL actors—but those were honest from the beginning. This one misleads the audience with the tagline “Finding Love,” and that feels like a betrayal.

I stopped watching at episode 5. One star.
(Though to be honest, I watched the last two episodes just for Tino.)

disappointing...

the first 2 eps were good then it went downhill....
-the main issue is blurring the lines btw love and going for work for a future bl, a mix of both doesnt work
-sometimes they act like trying to pursue each others in a dating way then they start talking as "friends" with each others
-there is no enough depth, we rarely see 2 people trying to know each others better its mostly just group activities
-too much crying but i coudnt help but not feel attached
-too much product placements, while i understand in thai content they often do this but it does feel forced (too much advertising, not enough connection btw the guys there)
i only finished it for Tino, he is sweet and a cutie, if he acts in a bl id watch him, thats all
