A selfish way to write love maybe?

SPOILERS!This story is about Hiro and Natsuo who meet again years later after going to the same high school. Natsuo has always had a crush on Hiro, but doesn't recognize him when they meet again and falls in love with him "at first sight". He asks Hiro out and so they start dating. Only Hiro's intentions aren't as good as he pretends them to be... Through the episodes you see their relationship change and finally they end up together, but in my opinion Natsuo deserved better and here's why:I believe Hiro really had a hard time back in highschool and I'm not saying he doesn't have the right to be mad, because of course he does, but I do believe his perspective on things is rather selfish. When he get's to know about Natsuo's past he can't see, or even tries to be able to see, that Natsuo weird ways of searching for contact with him back in highschool were because he never knew what it was like to be loved by someone and never learned how to be close to someone else. He really didn't mean to bully, he just didn't know how to befriend Hiro. Also Natsuo does everything he can to make Hiro fall for him and to make sure that he's happy in the ways that he is familiar with, but does he ever get a thank you? No he does not, not even at the end. In my opinion, the moment Hiro starts to fall for Natsuo is when he hurt his hand an Natsuo is taking care of him. Other then that he mostsly finds him annoying and doesn't seem to respect or accept him for who and how he is. So does he really like Natsuo, or just likes to be taken care of? Also, why did he lie about who he was when Natsuo has been nothing but honest with him?I think that after the moment when the truth finally came to light, Natsuo forgives Hiro too easily after being decieved for so long without a proper sorry or explanation other then Hiro saying how much he hated him back then, like that makes all his behavior okay. But in the end I'm happy Natsuo got an ending that made him happy, cause that boy deserves all the love and kindness in the world. I think his past was so overlooked by everyone. I wish I could give him a hug.(Also I really did'nt expect Hiro to be the top, but in another way it totally makes sense. It just caught me off guard in a good way.)

One Stars

as is the eps so short - idk why we needed that whole plot with the kid destroying the flowers. wish they just focused on the mains. as is there is a lot of clearing up & disclosing to do IMO - did more happen between the pair - is that why Hiroshi reacted like he was faced by his childhood bully? idk - i need to see more. what i know is that Natsuo is the character i am rooting for, he is almost childlike in his reactions & actions. hard not to like him. *******************************************************************wish Hiroshi would come clean, so they could communicate & clear up whatever misunderstanding they had between them, so they can move on

Still only okay...

I still don't really like the MC much. He honestly just seems like he's being a jerk to the ML. Yes, it's weird and a bit creepy that the ML just pops into the MC's house to make him breakfast in the mornings, claiming the door was open, but MC hasn't really questioned it or checked the locks at night to make sure ML can't come in, so I don't know what to really make of the situation in that regard. However, the ML is literally there to make the MC breakfast, and he doesn't do anything more questionable than that, so it seems more like his behavior from high school of simply inserting himself into MC's life because he likes him is just continuing.

--
As far as the "bullying" from high school we see in MC's flashbacks goes, he just didn't seem to want anyone in his life at all, and that's why he was so bothered by the ML. While I get that that sets some people off, and their feelings toward people insisting on being in their lives are valid, I can't bring myself to be mad at ML for wanting to be part of the MC's world enough to insert himself into MC's day in a realistically non-threatening way. From a psychological perspective, there are significant mental and emotional benefits to having someone insert themselves into your life, even when you want to remain insular, over time. After all, humans are not solitary creatures by nature, even those who are neurodivergent.

--
All in all, I find the ML super likable....the MC, not so much. I am watching it on GagaOOlala, and the title info doesn't suggest any reason to like the MC, so it seems likely that this is one of those stories where the ML makes the MC a better person whom we can then grow to appreciate, if not end up liking.
