Be Derailed (2025)

Leads truly feel like a couple & solved misunderstandings w/20min to spare

(I rate vertical dramas on their own sliding scale. General spoilers only.) Green flag ML, no abuse, no kidnappings. The chemistry between the leads was awesome. The flirting was both adorable and exciting. The leads seemed fully comfortable with each other and really felt like a true couple. Great skinship, multiple moments of romantic or sexual tension, a couple of suggestive lines and even a scene where they exit the shower together in towels, and a couple of good make-out scenes.

The ML was great! (Lan Lan was fabulous, as usual. I didn’t always like her character's choices, but I always liked her.) First time I've seen the ML and definitely curious to see more. His confession scene closer to the end was beautifully layered. The long-standing pain of unrequited love (as he was recounting the past) was palpable alongside his open devotion. Moments of self-deprication and old helplessness blended with relief and hope. All very natural and touching. My only wish was that the screenplay had given the FL more to say in reply, but the way the actor's embraced held a world of words anyway.

ML is Hu Jiacheng 胡嘉程, not yet on MDL as of 9/12/25.

There are long-standing, and repeating, misunderstandings/misconceptions between the leads, but they do all get sorted out 20min before the end so there's a good chunk of time with the leads just being happy together.

There are some of the typical antagonist scenes (like a green tea that won't give up) but at least they felt like secondary plot. Things regarding the ML's family were rushed near the end and didn't feel fully finished, but the ending for the leads themselves was solid.

A sintonia entre o ator Hu Jia Cheng e a Lan Lan é excepcional,

Graças ao aviso da Jwells, dei play neste drama, e ao perceber que já tinha assistido, continue porque lembro de ter gostado muito do casal...
A sintonia entre o ator Hu Jia Cheng e a Lan Lan é excepcional, pareciam MUITO um casal real, suas risadas, momentos íntimos e sempre que estavam contracenando só os dois era extremamente fofos e naturais. Nesse sentido o drama foi maravilhoso de assistir. Principalmente o olhar do Hu Jia Cheng, ele conseguiu transmitir muito o amor que o ML sentia pela FL. A Lan Lan é ótima também nesse quesito, gostei da sensualidade que ela trouxe para a primeira cena dos dois, ela fazendo com que ele continuasse ajoelhado foi muito boa..
A melhor amiga do serviço e o sobrinho eram engraçados e divertidos, gostei da atuação deles também, mas agora a parte chata...
O drama em si é repleto de mal-entendidos que se prolongam por muito tempo, a FL luta contra os sentimentos dela pelo ML, já que é apaixonada por ele desde o ensino médio. Ele, por arranjo familiar, tem uma ex-namorada louca, avá, e um pseudo-luar branco que, pelo menos, aparece pouco. Apesar dele sempre deixar claro algumas coisas para a FL, poderia ter cortado o mal pela raiz antes, além da irmã dele, que insiste em dar pitaco em sua vida, nem parece que tem 30 anos nas costas. Então há momento em que revirei os olhos profundamente...

Todas as cenas deles juntos são fofas e minhas favoritas, mas ele imitando um velho quando ela vai o barbear é muito engraçada.
