-Both about conglomerate families and those who serve them / cover up their mess
-Leads are similar as they both work under the family as a "dog"
-Queenmaker is more political whereas reborn rich is more economic

This may sound ridiculous. But these two have a lot in common:
-reborn again
-correcting mistakes
-not escaping reality
I can't say any more since it will give major spoilers but do give a scent of time a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

- The plot gives me similar vibes
- ML gets killed and has given second chance
- Goes back in time to take Perfect Revenge on his killer by getting reborn into their family

Both make use of similar tropes, and due to the nature of the endings, I think one inspired the other.

=> Both are Song Joong Ki dramas, both are about revenge. The people SJK is doing a revenge against are very rich/high on the social ladder (at least during the time SJK character is doing the revenge). SJK did fantastic acting in The Innocent Man, here's hoping Reborn Rich has enough where SJK can show his acting ability.

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

Set in the early 12th century, war threatens to erupt across the land of Da Chu, and the Imperial court is filled with corruption and intrigue. The cruel Emperor and his corrupt cronies plot to kill the Empress Yao Mo Xin – and are successful in their malicious efforts. Meanwhile, other vindictive parties chase down Yao Mo Wan, the Empress’s younger sister. In the night full of mystery, the dead queen’s spirit enters the body of her younger sister, intent on taking revenge on people who wronged and poisoned her to death. The Empress in Yao Mo Wan's body, enters the Imperial Court, bent on seeking vengeance. She also meets (and falls for) Ye Jun Qing, a young Da Chu prince. As she discovers the scale of the corruption at court, she decides to do her best to see that Ye Jun Qing deposes the evil Emperor. She uses the best tools at her disposal: her wits and natural intelligence to help her beloved in getting the throne.

Main characters are reborn into the past as a powerful figure and use their knowledge of future to make decision in a power struggle inside an empire, one literal empire and one mega corporation empire. However Mr Queen is male to female body while Reborn Rich is male to male.

Both kdramas have great revenge plots that make your heart beat faster with each episode.

As a phoenix, the protagonists in both kdramas manage to rise stronger from their ashes, only to take revenge from the ones who caused their distress. Albeit one is more violent and blood-filled, they both have great arc developments and intense dynamics with other main characters (in "Reborn Rich" the Grandfather and Grandson), (in "My name" the female lead and the Mafia boss).

A cocktail that leaves you thirsty for such a bond, but with no desire for unnecessary romantic plots. They both have great melancholic OSTS that leave you with a bittersweet taste towards the end.

Timeline of the dramas is 1990s and both of them are related to business. Also IMF crisis are being shown in both of them.

Having started from the bottom and worked his way to the top, Hyeonwoo finds himself betrayed by the royal family of Soonyang Group, the largest corporation in South Korea, after providing 13 years of dedicated service. Just when he thinks all his efforts have been made in vain and prepares to embrace his death, he suddenly wakes up in the body of Dojun Jin, the youngest grandson to the founder and CEO of Soonyang, having traveled back in time. Having been granted this second chance, Hyeonwoo begins to lay the foundation for his revenge against his evil relatives.

my thought is that both hyeonwoo and dong ju are thirsty for revenge after escaping death through second chance against the organization which betrayed them.
