Fushi, an immortal being weary of witnessing endless suffering, withdraws to a solitary island, shielding himself from the relentless Nokkers. Instead of confronting him directly, these malevolent creatures turn their aggression toward vulnerable settlements beyond his reach, hoping to draw him out. His seclusion is interrupted when the Guardians, a devoted faction led by Hisame—the descendant of a warrior from Fushi’s past—seek him out. Years earlier, Fushi’s defense of Janada Island earned him reverence, and now the Guardians rally under his legend, gaining widespread influence. Though hesitant, Fushi agrees to join them in investigating the Nokkers’ latest assault. Along the way, he reunites with familiar faces and forms bonds with new allies.
