Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You (2009)

Sawako Kuronuma has always been an outcast due to her resemblance to a famous horror movie ghost, earning her the unfortunate nickname "Sadako." Though she's gentle and kindhearted, her classmates avoid her out of fear and misunderstanding. She yearns for friendship and a chance to break free from her lonely existence, especially admiring Shouta Kazehaya, the outgoing and well-liked boy in her class who treats everyone with warmth. When Kazehaya invites her to a class event, Sawako cautiously steps out of her shell, slowly forming bonds with classmates like Ayane and Chizuru.
