Kimihiro Watanuki has always been haunted by an unwanted gift: the ability to see spirits and supernatural beings that others cannot. These eerie encounters make his daily life exhausting and unsettling. One evening, while fleeing from persistent spirits, he stumbles upon a peculiar house that seems to call to him. Inside, he meets Yuuko, a cryptic and alluring woman who runs a shop where wishes are granted—for a cost. Yuuko offers to free Watanuki from his supernatural sight, but only if he agrees to work for her. Reluctantly, he accepts, plunging into a world of bizarre requests, strange clients, and otherworldly phenomena. As he navigates this new reality, Watanuki finds himself entangled in surreal and often dangerous situations, uncovering deeper mysteries about himself and the enigmatic Yuuko along the way.
