Sousuke Sagara, a hardened military operative, is assigned to guard Kaname Chidori, a high school student deemed vital to global security. Unfortunately, his battlefield instincts clash hilariously with everyday school life, as his over-the-top security measures—like smuggling heavy weaponry into class—constantly disrupt the peace. Kaname, juggling her role as student council vice president, must rein in his antics while dealing with the absurd chaos he creates. When undercover work is required, Sousuke dons the disguise of Bonta-kun, a cheerful amusement park mascot. His engineering skills turn the costume into a high-tech armored suit, though its voice modulator malfunctions, leaving him only able to communicate in muffled "mofu" sounds.
