Akira Kanbara and Michiko Daimon are enjoying the races at a horse track in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Over in the owner’s box, a woman in a luxurious fur is sipping champagne with a young man. The woman’s horse is disqualified after it gets in the way of the horse Michiko placed a bet on. Michiko ends up losing all her money and the woman’s horse suffers a life-threatening fracture. The Lone Wolf Doctor is back!

Here is what we know so far:
The manager still skips when he gets paid. He also has some new toys, but where did he got the money to pay for them? Doctor X is still broke and trying to payoff her debt. Which begs the question, just how much does she owe? New License revealed as well as a new job at a new hospital. However, it looks like she will have to deal with a female who doctor who is just as stubborn as she is. Plus, the anesthesiologist makes an appearance as well some doctors from season one. Looking forward to see how this season unfolds.

Solid Start for S2

DtrXS2 picks up neatly from S1 with her being placed in another hostile work environment. In the opening scenes we learn she is a Vet - vet surgeon along with her on-going loosing streaks remaining. Her manager is back to torment the HC admin one melon at a time while still collecting the $$. Looks like in this season she will tangle with another female snake along with GOBoys clubs. Again DTRX is a refreshing series depicting a positive, intelligent, assertive, and confident medical professional simply wanting to do surgery in a minefield after years of honing her talent. This series affirms there are confident women out there, still battling the age-old fight of Boys Clubs & and stigmas. Great start for S2 - only question: Where's Ben Casey?
