Maiko is ,about to get married. Due to her father fainting and questioning how long he will still be alive Maiko agrees to to go to an omiai (matchmaking date),At the omiai she meets Hanasato Harumi. Maiko is impressed by his calm demeanor, his soft voice, good manners, and seems to fall head over heals for him. She asks him when they will meet again at the end of the date.

Absolutely sweet story of an all-too naive and innocent 24 year old girl who gets engaged to a man some 20 years her senior.Didn’t know what to expect with this drama, but with Shanai Marriage Honey and Marry Me! both on at the same time, I wasn’t sure I wanted to dive into yet another “We hardly Knew Each Other But We Got Married!” scenarios. But man, from the first five minutes, Aoi Wakana's Maiko melted my heart with her adorable naive outlook and outspoken style of blurting out exactly what is on her mind!
