Yang Jing Lan comes to take Ji Ying Ying away, but she refuses because she is afraid the Nanzhao King will seek revenge on the kidnapped workers. She explained her deal with the King and asked Yang Jing Lan to prepare a safe place for them in Yizhou, asking him to take care of the usurper Military Commissioner Niu. This episode was well executed !

I truly feel Jing chao did best in his scenes, that is how a psycopath is suppose to act!!! If you closely monitor the scenes, there is this urge in him to just be loved by JYY, at this point he gave up to try to win her heart, this is the breaking point for him, if i can't make her mine, i will distroy it. So much Angst ! But his acting on this twisted character is something to look forward to ,i wished this happened in the earlier episodes as it was all rushed in the end. And at the ending , the chess and fighting scene was a chef's kiss. So sad for YJL, he gets beaten up badly again ! But TSY's eyes in this particular scene, anger , helplessess and pain all emotions mixed , and the zoom in to the eyes to show the reflection of her lover getting slashed , it maked the scene so painfully perfect.
