When Tang soldiers show up at the Nanzhou border, Prince Bai is blamed for the chaos it creates. The Nanzhao King wants to move him to the Palace, which is secured by guards. The Prince instead asks to solve the problem. He uses Yang Jing Lan to do this, and a deal is struck between them. In the meantime, the artisans are making progress but running into issues and losing hope.
