Critiques
This ones for the 2016 idol webdrama lovers!
This drama has been on my list to finish since it was airing and I finally binged watched it and really enjoyed my time!this is like a 2016 kdrama and a tbs jdrama mashed together and made a beautiful idol baby. if you loved stuff like Astro's " too be continued" or "EXO Next Door" well you are gonna love this. (which i did) The massive amounts of cheese is what made them loveable and the same goes for Dream Stage. We have lost the arts of using a drama to introduce kpop groups to the masses and i think thats a loss to the culture. it's also just funny because this type of K-Pop does not exist at all in the K Pop industry now so it makes the show feel even more dated.
if you know kpop and jpop its fun to see the ebidan idol cameos. We got M!lk, Icex and Genjibu which is very fun. also, just do find it funny that they have an all japanese group as a kpop group 😂 hilarious!
Naze is very cute but I can't lie, overwhelmingly love torinner more. I cant help it!! it has iwase and riku in it!! but i do commend NAZE tho as a kpop group to do thier first acting gigs in japanese in a full 40 min long jdrama, thats gutsy! The acting wasn't fully there, but it was passable and I have seen worse.
There are some choices made in the plot that I don't really vibe with personally, but overall still a good time. Especially if you love 2016 kdramas cause it really felt like watching those.
