Ever since Watarai hugged him that day, Hioki hasn’t been able to stop noticing him. When summer break arrives and the group heads to the beach, Hioki shows up late and is suddenly approached at the station by a mysterious man calling his name. It turns out to be a harsh prank planned by Morisaki’s brother Ryoto, leaving Hioki nearly in tears. As they spend the day doing beach flags, watermelon smashing, picking shells, and fireworks, Hioki and Watarai naturally grow closer. Later, during dinner by the sea, Ryoto suddenly asks Hioki, “If you had to choose one person out of us… who would it be?” Everyone turns to him, and just as Hioki starts to answer with “I think I’d probably…,” something unexpected happens. OMG WATARAI CONFESSED

so they’re all at the beach and they’re having fun and watarai’s treating Hioki extra well as usual, and later on during the night, Hioki accidentally drinks alcohol at a bar since some annoying elder guys came to their table and asked the boys to drink with them but left when they found out the boys were underage, but one of them probably left their glasses on the table and Hioki drank it causing him to become drunk and lie down on watarai’s shoulder, and Hioki goes on about how he always feels comfortable around waratai and waratai confesses that he’ll always cherish Hioki and Hioki clocks that it’s a confession from waratai and waratai admits that he likes Hioki FINALLYY.

I'm just logging this just to say how pure and adorable this episode is. I love how it showed Watarai's side. I loved it!

confession

I like the way Watarai takes care of Hioki, and does not leave him alone. I'm so happy that Watarai finally confessed his feelings to Hioki. Sadly, Hioki is drunk; he'll probably forget it.

this was fun & funny ep until the ice-cream…

this was fun & funny ep until the ice-cream scene, from that moment on it turn cringe for me. but at least by the end Watarai finally confessed, making it clear that he was interested in Hioki & not just interested in being close friends. but his "...i want to take care of u forever..." was a bit much. like dude Hioki not the 1st person ur dating & sadly wont be the last. that's life for u & u in ur teens for sure can't comprehend the meaning of forever. this not fairytale... but i get that teens can been fanciful - dreaming of a happily ever after... so i guess i get where he was coming from - with this huge declaration. so will chalk it up to the innocence of youth. **************************************************************************************************************btw wonder what Ryoto wanted to talk to Watarai about, he noticed how Watarai was 'taken' by Hioki & i guess he wanted to push Hioki at the table, asking 'if he was a girl who would he chose among the 4' - but what did he tell/ask Watarai?!? hmmm...

Confession on the Beach with Beautiful Wave Sounds

Hioki said, “I tried to go on a diet,” and there was something fragile in the way he said it, something that felt like he was reaching out without fully meaning to. Watarai’s response came softly, almost too naturally, as if the words had been waiting on his tongue: “Does that mean you want me to carry you again?” It wasn’t just teasing. It was worry, affection, and hope all tangled together, slipping through in a way he probably didn’t realize. It felt like an indirect “yes,” a confession hidden inside a joke only the two of them really understand.Their scene on the beach was almost overwhelming in how quietly emotional it was. The waves brushed the shore with a steady rhythm, like a heartbeat carrying their unspoken words. The wind wrapped around them, holding the silence that stretched between their breaths. And there they stood, so close, so vulnerable, both of them aching with things they had never quite dared to say. It was tender, raw, and beautifully honest in a way that felt impossible to look away from.It was such a stunning episode, the kind that lingers long after it ends. And now I am just waiting, heart definitely too invested, for the moment they finally choose each other openly and let themselves call it what it is: love.
