•❅✧❅✦ STORY •❅✧❅✦

The romance between the ML and FL is very interesting. It's not the most perfect romance, but it's beautiful.

From his perspective, she randomly starts proclaiming her love for him, and never faulters. While he doesn't put an emphasis on his disabilities, everyone else does... except for the FL. She just treats him like he is a normal person without any disabilities. He finds her odd, but tries to keep her at an arms length because while he's interested he has three problems: 1, he's disabled and he doesn't want to become a burden. 2, he's rich and is afraid she's after his money. 3, she's probably using him to get back at her Ex. All are eventually proven wrong.

From our FL's perspective, she just wants to fall in love and have a beautiful romance. She knows she messed up in her first life, so she tries to make amends and have a genuine romance with the ML in this life. She understands that he was in love with her and was trying to be the best husband, and she knows she wasn't the best wife. She tries to make up for it in this life by having a genuine romance with him in this life. There is just one problem... her Ex.

The Ex and his new girlfriend are a menace throughout the drama. While the FL and ML are minding their own business, the Ex and his all important self, always insert himself and his new girlfriend into anything and everything the FL is doing. She repeatedly tells him to get off his high horse and leave her alone, but he never listens. The ML also tells him to back off, that he's able enough to protect himself and does not need protection, but the Ex never listens. He's always preaching to the FL that the ML is disabled and that she shouldn't try to use him as a crutch to get back at him. He's so self-involved that even things that don't have anything to do with him, he suddenly makes into a situation involving him. It's so annoying.


•❅✧❅✦ CHARACTERS •❅✧❅✦

The FL and ML are a really beautiful couple. The FL can be a little irritating at times, but she's not annoying. Most of the time I was wishing that she would just leave the situation instead of trying to explain to her Ex that she was over him. Like if she had stopped giving him attention, he would probably get the message. However, aside from anything involving her Ex, I really liked her. Her actress did an amazing job!

As for the ML, he's a sweetheart. I really can't say anything bad about him because he was amazing. His actor did superb and I would love to see more of his work!


•❅✧❅✦ THE ML's DISABILITY •❅✧❅✦

This drama does great at portraying people with disabilities as normal people. The drama doesn't create a ruckus about the ML being in a wheelchair or have the ML be jealous of able bodied people. While most dramas have able bodied men as their male leads, only dramas that touch upon the struggles of being paralyzed or wheelchair bound have disabled people as their male leads. This drama is not like that! This drama's ML is wheelchair bound, but he's not jealous or sad. The drama also isn't about him being in a wheelchair, it's literally about the FL being genuinely in love with the ML. His disability is a part of him and it's not part of the drama. Her Ex is the drama!

Also this drama is great because it portrays a different type of wheelchair bound user. The ML is wheelchair bound throughout most of drama, however he is not paralyzed. He has weak legs that prevent him from walking properly, so he is an ambulatory wheelchair user. He doesn't walk much for most of the drama because he is embarrassed by his own walking and doesn't want to be seen with a limp. Ambulatory wheelchair users aren't portrayed often in media, so it's nice to see one screen and even better to see one as the main lead! Furthermore, it's great that the reason he can walk is because he always could, not because love created some miracle.


•❅✧❅✦ OVERALL •❅✧❅✦

This drama is beautiful. It's not perfect, but the portrayal of an ambulatory wheelchair user, as well as the fact that he is the main lead in a drama that is strictly romance makes it an amazing drama. Him being wheelchair bound isn't the issue, it's all the FL and her Ex that bring the drama. Also, our FL isn't back for revenge against the man who wronged her like most "second chance" dramas. She is looking for genuine love with a man she wronged, and couldn't care less about her Ex that wronged her.

The plot is nice, but the couple is even better! I recommend watching this drama because you won't be disappointed.
