Gu Nan Nan spots Feng Qing coming down the mountain and tries to teach her a lesson, but Feng Qing turns the tables and beats her up instead. Uncle Chang rushes to the cabin to help. Just then, Gu Nan Nan runs over and says Feng Qing tried to kill her, but Feng Qing explains that it was Gu Nan Nan who attacked her first. During their argument, a set of keys falls out of Gu Nan Nan's pocket—they are exactly the keys used to lock the cabin from the inside earlier. With both witness and material evidence against her, Sheng Ze orders that Gu Nan Nan is never to set foot in the Sheng family's premises again. After returning to the Sheng mansion, Sheng Ze has Feng Qing tied up. He tells her that the earlier scene was just a show for her, that he has long known her identity, and offers her terms to work for him. Feng Qing rejects his offer, stating that she will never betray Mr. Sheng. Sheng Huai Jing decides to make a move on the way Sheng Ze and Qiao Wan go to meet Professor Bai.
