The next day, Qiao Wan wakes up to find Sheng Ze sleeping beside her. Qiao Wan says she saw Sheng An's ghost last night, but Sheng Ze sneers that she must have a guilty conscience and feels sorry for Sheng An. The old lady tortures her to extract a confession, and Qiao Wan struggles desperately to break free. Sheng Huai Jing appears and tries to take her away, but is stopped by Sheng Ze. Sheng Ze receives a call from the nursing home, realizes the call is being monitored by Sheng Huaijing, and rushes to the nursing home with Qiao Wan.
