Su Ling Yu and Xu Ming Ma return to the beauty salon to investigate again and discover that Chen Lu and Li Yao Hui may have colluded to create an alibi. By reviewing surveillance footage, Su Ling Yu and Jiang Cheng gradually uncover the relationship between Chen Lu and Li Yao Hui, as well as her whereabouts on the night of the crime. As the investigation deepens, they find a key piece of evidence: the voice recording left by the robotic vacuum cleaner after Liu Wen Tao's murder proves that Chen Lu was present at the crime scene. The police continue to look into the relationship between Chen Lu and Li Yao Hui and find that they were closely connected the night before the crime. Through further examination of Chen Lu's phone contents, the police uncover more suspicious links between her and her ex-husband and current husband, especially the coincidence that both husbands died of "acute illness", as well as the huge insurance claims she received from both cases.
