My Best Friend and I Are the Best in the World (2025)

Lowkey same comedy wavelength as this drama

Ma Lejie slowly wants to break her acting persona for being abused to do this comedic route and it works. Li Shengjie is always serve as Male lead, i don't have any complaint about him.

The plot is quite new FL best friend (Zheng Xiaoxiao) got married to ML younger brother (Xie Dongqing) while FL (Nan Feng) wants to crash their wedding. People thought she wants to get ML little brother since his persona is playboy but she comes to FL bestfriend crying while being left behind. FL thinks fast and has an idea to get ML's (Xie Qiu Bai) as her boyfriend. FL try to seduce him by any means for stop her family to get back to her scumbag fiancee that choose by her parents.

I quite like FL antics with green tea (slapping each other since both of them are low class actress) and Ma Lejie with her beggar clothes to fight ML brother for neglecting her bestie is quite my favorite. Most of the part is like mockumentary about duanju formula like they assumed they get pregnant while it actually they are not.

The supporting cast are doing great especially ML mom, FL best friends and of course the victim of main couple- ML younger brother. They got decent portion without shadowing main casts. Main Couple kisses is that good and i quite surprise how second couple got their steamy kiss (not with that usual fake kiss).

I still rewatch few times since it quite funny and the plot is not too draggy.

Recommended to anyone who watch sister love and comedy without slapstick.
