Episode Title: Until My Best Friend Asked Me to Live Together
Minato and Wataru meet in high school and become close friends through their shared love of photography. In college, they live together and spend four irreplaceable years side by side. But when Minato gets a job after graduation, he moves to Hokkaido, and the two begin separate lives.
Three years later, an unexpected phone call from Minato brings them back together. When they reunite, their conversations flow as naturally as ever, just like old times. But on the way home, Minato suddenly says to Wataru, “Live with me.” The time that had stood still for the two of them begins to move again.

given all the comments, i didn't have high hopes for this, was even wondering if i should... as i was waiting for this to get completed & then the negativity made me 2nd guess... but whatever - cute 1st ep, even though it's obvious to anyone that both leads r in-love/infatuated/crushing on each other. **********************************************************************************Minato fell for or started developing feelings for Wataru the sec he gave him his album & his heart was in his eyes every time he looked at Wataru - heck he couldn't see anything else, when Wataru was with him. u need to be blind deaf & dumb to not catch on & ironically that's exactly what Wataru is, i guess. as he only realized his feeling on Minato's 20th birthday & from then onwards, he kept convincing himself that all he feels is intense friendship - ok. but what can u expect form a guy acting like a child, trying to fight food with a fork when u need a spoon to do the job?!? *******************************************************i haven't a clue how the rest of this unfolds, but have a feeling that Wataru is gonna be the main obstacle, with the mains becoming more then just friends.

The first episode introduces the series with a delicate and engaging tone, clearly focused on building atmosphere before any major narrative turning point. The story leans into sensations: glances that linger a little too long, silences heavy with meaning, and a soft yet constant emotional tension that settles in from the very first minutes. The dynamic between Minato and Wataru emerges naturally, supported by a tender and convincing chemistry that quickly draws the viewer in. Visually, the episode stands out for its clean, cinematic aesthetic, with careful cinematography that enhances the intimate and comforting mood. The unhurried pacing works in favor of the story, allowing the bond between the characters to be established with sensitivity and attention to detail. As an opening chapter, it precisely fulfills its role of introducing the series’ world and laying the emotional groundwork of the narrative, sparking curiosity and leaving a lingering promise of a deep and captivating emotional journey.

From the very start the mls created the right spark. Love the use if light and dark tones. The jump in time was very natural and effective.

This series just had a GREAT start. The chemistry between the leads, the childhood friends/friends to lovers trope it's exquisite. And may I say that they will have the sweetest slow burn? and, I think they'll prolly suffer a lot to face their feelings since they have known each other for a long time. I'm looking forward to the next ep cuz this seems amazing so far
