Even after confessing their feelings for one another, Kanata and Akira still struggle to act naturally around each other. One day, the staircase landing where they usually meet is suddenly closed off, leaving them restless as they’re unable to see each other. Around the same time, Akira runs into Kanda again and finally brings a complete end to the relationship they once used as a way to escape their own feelings. Encouraged by Jun, Kanata gathers his courage and storms into the advanced class.
