Toki and Hikaru run a charmingly retro photo studio. Toki possesses the ability to "take over the body and actions of the person who pressed the shutter," while Hikaru has the power to "see everything that transpired in the world at the exact moment the photo was taken." Alongside managing their studio, the duo uses these extraordinary abilities to leap back in time through photographs, bringing salvation to clients burdened by regret and profound loss. One day, they receive a harrowing request regarding the disappearance of a six-year-old boy. The boy's mother, Yoko, has been enduring harsh public scrutiny while holding onto the unwavering belief that her son will return. Their only clue is a single photograph taken on the very day he vanished.
