The Boy and I Who Will Break Up in 100 Days Episode 2

For their documentary project, Kayano Shiho and Yamada Kentaro begin interviewing a same-sex couple, Kasuga Yuma and Hasegawa Itsuki. The two had gained public attention after speaking about their partnership declaration, but behind the scenes, they’re hiding a secret: their feelings for each other have already drifted apart, and they’re continuing to live together as “former lovers.” In front of the camera, they act affectionate and close, but once filming ends, a cold silence fills their daily life. Wanting to show society the ideal image of a same-sex couple, Yuma tries to preserve that perfect version through the documentary. Itsuki, however, can no longer ignore how uncomfortable he feels pretending to live a lie. Meanwhile, completely unaware of the truth, Shiho and Yamada visit Yuma’s workplace, “Waves,” to interview his boss, Kubota.
