poor Xiao Chen finally almost got to 'top'…

poor Xiao Chen finally almost got to 'top' & got cockblocked by his friends lol - that was hilarious. this ep zoomed by, a lot happened so will start from the start; i don't like Xiao Chen's younger brother, what is he damage? he just doesn't like Lu Feng or he just doesn't want his brother to date? cause, he can have a bf but his brother can't?!? i didn't get his behavior & like i said, he way worse then Lu Feng's sister. in her case she never gaslit her brother. the fact she allowed her father to have his way, can't fault her, she can't choose a side & she did what she though was best at that time - right or wrong she didn't lie or manipulate her brother, like Xiao Chen's younger sibling did. **********************************************************************from there we go to Lu Feng getting his ass beat.... again, that father was all hail & hearty when he was beating the crap out of his adult son, but the sec his son stands-up to him or pushes back, he remembers he got a heart condition? very convenient if u ask me. i rolled my eyes then, like i did when he finally kicked the bucket - & lets face facts, even Lu Feng was relieved when he died. he might have also felt sad afterwards, but his initial reaction was a sigh of relief. which is very understandable & given the will, i am happy that Lu Feng is working hard to support his life with Xiao Chen. as much as he is in-love he is very realistic. *also loved the flashback of when Lu Feng started loving Xiao Chen, he was the typical "boy pulls the hair of the girl he likes" it fits his personality to a tea & that was such a sweet & wholesome flashback. given how lovey dovey most of this ep was i wonder what is gonna happen to break up this near perfect picture?!? cause we all know this not a happily ever after not yet. ironically i feel sadder for Lu Feng... weird? ******************************************************************************************side note: it really takes me out when the actor playing Xiao Chen cries or eats - drinks in this ep - he is like a freakin child all thumbs & elbows it's goofy as f*ck & cringe.

Episode 5 Broke My Heart in the Softest Way

Episode 5 is my favorite so far.I feel terrible for saying it, but after both of their homophobic fathers passed away, it is like the world finally stopped standing between them. Now they can live together openly, and every moment between them feels like watching a married couple who survived a storm just to find peace in each other’s arms. The way they speak to one another is unbearably sweet.“I do not want expensive cars.”“I do not want a luxury house.”“I only want more time with you.”And when one says, “Even if you are broke and have nothing, I will support you,” it feels less like dialogue and more like a vow whispered between soulmates. They look so happy together that it almost hurts to watch, because happiness in stories like this always feels fragile, like glass glowing in sunlight before it shatters. There are still seven episodes left, and that is what terrifies me. Right now their love feels soft, safe, and endless, but somewhere ahead waits the moment that will change Lu Feng into someone colder, someone toxic, someone capable of hurting the person he loves most. I cannot stop thinking about how a love this beautiful could slowly rot from the inside. And maybe that is why I cannot look away. The sweeter they are now, the more heartbreaking the fall will be.
