The shock of the discovery of his identity left Myongnong in the wake of different conflicting emotions. But out of the overwhelming and justly bitter emotions, he overcame and thought objectively throughout. More than that, he tells the portrait that Myongnong being his son ends there. And like the case that the court handled several episodes back, the king claimed him as his own: 'I have two sons. But only one will wear the crown.'
