### Japanese Politeness, Culture and the Innocent Heart of Hinata

If you ever get the chance to visit Japan 🇯🇵, please do! Japanese people are some of the most respectful and polite people I’ve ever encountered. They are so punctual that their trains arrive almost to the exact second. People line up everywhere, and even their adorable animals seem polite too. 😂So when Hinata got a confession from Miya, a girl who likes him, I can imagine many people saying, “Why doesn’t he just say no?” But Hinata is such a kind hearted and innocent person that he was simply trying to be polite, just like many Japanese people are.Of course, being polite can be a double edged sword. Being respectful and avoiding confrontation is one thing, but it can also unintentionally mislead someone when they aren’t given a straight answer.That’s one of the reasons I love this remake. We get to learn more about Japanese culture and how those cultural traits are naturally blended into the story and Hinata’s character.
