I can consider this a Comfort movie.
Before I even started the movie, I check reviews strangely often than I should. However, Being swayed by positive reviews and the rating (obviously lol), I decided to just watch regardless.To start off.. The actress who played Oh Doo-ri/ Oh Mal-soon in her 20's really swept me off my feet with her acting (given years in the field ). Shim Eun-kyung really amazed me, she played such a heartwarming, witty, and very beautiful character.
Na Moon-hee as Mal-soon, though she was there in the beginning and near-ending of the movie, she was indeed my absolute favorite gammy — from her comeback and boldness to her bluntness (completely unfiltered) and caring nature (though it's definitely not in a way we could handle it.) Absolutely made me fall in love with her character.
But the overall cast has really mended the movie so beautifully. I had my fair share of laughter and a tad bit of crying from both laughter and genuine sadness, the hilarity and warmth the movie brought really gave me the comfort I needed, regardless of how my day is.
The OST is amazing honestly, I live for the vocals.
I'd definitely rewatch it a million times, if I were given a chance.

Textbook Age-Regression Comedy
Ms. Granny is entertaining and hits all the expected age-regression tropes. However, while it’s a funny watch, it doesn’t bring much new to the genre. Some creative choices, like the grandson’s musical direction and certain of the grandmother’s priorities, resulted in a confusing moral that made it harder to connect with the characters. It’s an entertaining one-time watch, but I would probably choose a different comedy to watch before rewatching this film.Overall: 3/5

comedywise it was fun and I laughed a few times, but plotwise it was too basic and convenient like honestly the blood/wounds making her old again, and accident of her beloved grandson were too linear, but the way they handled the age gaps, the "romances" and the character developments were nice, probably the best in this genre of fantasy age gaps, I think it'd have been as creepy for this 74 year old to "live happily ever after" with a 30+ as it was for mr black that might've actually ended with the creepy old guy and the fl his son's age got together
tbh this was a rewatch and I thought her daughter in law was the one who got sick and she chose to help xD but the relationship development between them at the end was nice though again way too rushed, why did she suddenly decided to talk back xD

It's probably cuz of the ending.
I wouldn't consider this to be the best movie ever. I really loved seeing jin young For the first time. I absolutely fell for him. I was like who's this super adorable kid? The story was just so so. The music was fine. Like all other movies, it makes us dream! There was nothing much about this that I really loved. It was probably the ending that made it all so perfect!!
Need I say more, Kim soo Hyun at the end hot n sexy on that motorcycle is like end of the word. Well I'd recommend everyone to watch this. I've also seen the Chinese version n I can say this one is much better. I would say watch both cuz they're enjoyable. If you have free time....

Ms. Granny represents the reality of old age. They think that becoming old is becoming useless, that they become less important to their family and societies, that whatever dreams they had left for themselves is no chance to achieve. Sad but this is the inevitable reality of life.
So when Oh Mal-Soon had the second chance to become 20 again, what do you think she’ll gain? In this movie, I truly enjoyed her journey; the passion, her dream, the humor, the new love, and even her music.
Truly, you will never get bored of the plot along with the characters. Actually, it exceeded my expectation. By the end of the film, you will realize what is more important in your life and you can decide about it.

"Miss Granny" is a funny, sweet and compelling drama that would bring joyful feeling during seeing it.Its been a long time I didn't see any good comedy . This one is about an old granny who turned out to be 20 again and its so funny to see how she manage to handle the unexpected miracle ever. .Sure a lot of stuff is far-fetched and the dialogues not completely believable. But for a comedy such as this, it still works out. It has good music & songs, good acting, good pace, hilarious humor...
