Consort Jing tells her son to trust Mei Changsu. After learning that Consort Jing has seen his book, Mei is worried that she may have found out about his secret identity. Meanwhile, Prince Jing is promoted to a noble prince with five pearls (ranking system), causing Prince Yu to be furious and as well as compete with Prince Jing like he did before with Prince Xian.
