Yi Chen brings Mo Sheng home. Yi Chen's parents give her a warm welcome. Yi Mei ignores them and leaves. Yi Chen seeks Yi Mei's mother's help with their wedding preparation. The two elders are elated. They go to watch the community performance hosted by Yi Mei. Yi Mei's mother introduces her new daughter-in-law, Mo Sheng, to her neighbor. Yi Mei fell when she tried to leave the stage. Mo Sheng sprains her ankle as she tries to save Yi Mei. Yi Mei feels guilty, bringing Mo Sheng a bowl of chicken soup. Mo Sheng stops Yi Mei from leaving but can't tell Yi Mei what's on her mind, causing Yi Mei to hate her even more. Yi Mei tells her that she knows Mo Sheng was married to Ying Hui. Mo Sheng tells Yi Mei that her marriage with Ying Hui is fake. Mo Sheng is concerned about how others will view Yi Chen. She decides to deal with her divorce as soon as possible. Yi Chen goes to find Yi Mei as he knows that Yi Mei is troubled by the issue. Yi Mei reminisces about the past and apologizes to Yi Chen and Mo Sheng.
