I watched this because of Gong Hyo Jin which I found her in Master's Sun and my interest in psychiatry, and decided to watch this drama. This is one of the most unique, interesting, heartwarming and yet realistic dramas I ever watched. I enjoyed every moment of it.

Story:
The story plot talks about reality and sensitive topics that most dramas usually avoid. This story is based on psychiatry and gives you a reality of how mental disorders can affect a person's life and people around them. It also is a slice of life drama which focuses on love life, forming relationships and even about sex life.

To make things short, this drama focuses on people who try to overcome their mental disorders while trying to understand love and building relationships.

Acting/Cast:
The characterization was amazing. They made you laugh or cry. Each character had different personalities that formed a love-hate relationship with each other, you could say that they're an interesting group of people who treat each other like family.

The main pairing's (Gong Hyo Jin x Jo In Sung) relationship started naturally and wasn't overly exaggerated or expressed. Jo In Sung's character was the most interesting to watch, I really recommend keeping an eye on him throughout this drama. Although I'm not a big fan of idol actors, D.O has chosen a really interesting role for his debut as acting and has done a really good job

Music:
From soft ballads to songs that have a happy vibe, their OSTs are amazing to the point where I downloaded all of them onto my phone. My personal favorites are The Best Luck - Chen, It's Okay That's Love - Davichi, I Love You - Yoon Mirae, And I Need You the Most - Hey, and Sleepless Night - Crush. It also contained some old classic songs

I was satisfied with the ending too, so I really do recommend this drama, I hope this reviewed helped~

This drama handled an interesting and difficult subject matter with great results. I laughed and cried along with these lovable characters, and still listen to the music daily!

My Rating: 9.0

In Short: Gong Hyo Jin never disappoints me, and neither did anyone else involved in this drama. I really liked the unconventional way it handled mental disorders.

Pros: The cast was great, the music was fantastic and the drama was well written and did not have the classic "second leads". I did not miss them!

Cons: Hae Soo's anxiety disorder was a bit too "easily cured" in relation to how big a deal she made of it. It would have made no difference if she had just been a little prickly.

I didn't expect to like this drama so much but now, days after finishing it, I still feel that tug at my heart because of this drama. I've even distracted myself with an entire drama! It didn't work!

This drama is unbelievable, the acting is so so great. The actors were such great choices as they really performed what needed to be done to deliver the important messages and intensity that the drama has and need. The drama is so great for bringing light to these issues about mental illnesses and the stigma around it that sadly is reality. They show that it can happen to the best of us, and there's nothing wrong asking for help if you need it.

The drama is also great in the aspect that this couple actually talks to each other and work to solve the problems they stumble upon in their relationship. They show that talking to each other and solving the problem together really isn't that hard and it saves you from so many fights. They're happy for it.
It's very realistic in the sense of skinship as well, if they want to kiss, they do.

I absolutely adore this drama. Much love <3

It's okay, it's love, it's more than just a love story. Sure, it's not the tale of the greatest love ever, but the focus on mental health, and how to treat people that suffer from mental problems, are the main focus of this drama, that doesn't fail to capture the interest from the very first episode and keep it up till the end. The stories tangle up into this thrilling drama, that explores the issues of the mental illnesses. And the message that leaves us is loud and clear : people with mental illness have to be treated as equals. The background of each character is interesting and it's being explored throughout the series, till the last episode, which was more about the closure of the love story, than anything. But, still, the background stories are the ones that support this drama, along with the good performances. I may add that to the list of the issues that It's okay, it's love, handles the domestic violence, that is presented constantly. Now, for the love story, it's not that good, though the chemistry between the two characters isn't that bad. I think that it's just that they are not that comparable, the cold doctor and the play boy, though they do find common ground through their mental issues. Finally, the supporting stories are okay, but not that good. But the soundtrack was great, and it was just what the scene needed some times.

I doubted this drama at first. It wasn't my usual brooding revenge or sad love story. I put it in hold twice even though both leads are some of my favorite actors. Boy am I glad I have it a shot and saw it to the end! It was so worth it. They made the story short and sweet with 16 episodes. They did everything right.

Furthermore, it has a lot of sexual overtones and may not be ideal for younger viewers, however it's all tied in perfectly with the lives of 30 something's sharing their lives. The romance that develops is perfect, sweet, pure and true. You watch and feel like you're falling in love. The comedic tones of the characters are just right and always when it needs to be, which was great for someone like me who hasn't seen a drama who could master that yet. The seriousness in this drama is toned down with the power of LOVE. I suggest everyone give this a serious try.

As for the OST, I was a skeptic as you can see from my comments below, but even if you prefer traditional Korean music in your dramas like myself, they did this so all that at the end you end up singing half of the songs.

Over all, this drama gets a 10 from me all around!

Rewatch value is low for me only because I don't want to ruin my emotions and see it again, but I'm sure others might!

It would be so wrong if i don't write a review for my favorite drama.
At first i hesitated, judging from not-so-intriguing poster and trailer, it feels like your typical boring rom-com with the handsome rich but arrogant male lead chasing for the poor ignorant female heroin as the main plot. Then i decided to try it (because of Jo In Sung, most of it, i couldn't resist him). But i was wrong. I think it was one of my best decision..i'm surely and deeply in love with this drama after watching a couple episodes.

This drama has flaws here and there (see, i can't give a solid 10 here, no matter how much i love this one) especially about the mental illness subject. I study medicine and i have met and seen schizophrenic patients before. i think that..some symptoms and signs do not match with what they call the schizophrenic here. Okay i'm going to stop here lol.. Apart from that, the acting, the chemistry (the best one i've seen, believe me), the music, covers that all.

I think of this drama as my first love in dramaland, it's really, perfectly, my style! (just like the couple say). No matter how many dramas i watch, i keep comparing those to IOTL. I blame my love for this drama because they set the bar so high for the others. If you're hesitating to watch this..please, don't be.

Its been a while since I wrote a review. I had to as I really loved this drama.
What a deep and beautiful Drama. It is deeply emotional, and hits right at your heart.
Gives you an understanding about the insecurities and stress people face, and how you overcome them.
The romance is very sweet and chemistry between the leads sharp and heartwarming.
Acting of all the cast is really good. Also the side stories are very cute.
More of a mature drama, with heartwarming moments, sad and happy, although you cant call it a romantic comedy.
It needs to be seen to be appreciated.
Dont miss it. Thumbs up.

First of all this drama is not what i expected. The romance is not a typical Kdrama love story. No lies, no strings... just real. At first i wasn't blown away from the romance but that changed drastically! This drama will make you smile, laugh and cry and that is what i am looking for in a good drama.

The acting was beautiful ! Kyungsoo acting is very promising.. he has a great facial expression. I was just blown away from Jo In Sung, Kong Hyo Jin and Sung Dong Il.....words cannot describe their perfection. Especially Jo In Sung. I just love his acting *___*

Let's all agree that the OST is just amazing! 10/10

Overall is this drama beautifully, touching n close to reality. The story shows us a picture about mental disorder and teaches us to see it in a different perspective. It's also good how everyone choose to understand someones weakness and faults, rather than to judge.

It is a memorable drama and i will miss it. <3
Thanks for the ride No Hee Kyung (screenwriter)! :)

OVERALL
Watch this fun, romantic and innovative drama, if not for the story, for the change in perspective that it generates in its viewers. Do it soon if 1) You're looking for something different, not really explored in dramas yet, 2) You want to see a real adult romance. Maybe keep it for later if 1) You have low tolerance for relational conflicts, 3) Mental illness issues make you uncomfortable.

THE STORY
It's okay is a manifesto against discrimination and stigmatization of mental illness. It shows that everyone struggles with some mental issue; that there aren't two categories, the normal people and the mentally ill, we are all on a continuum. It reminds people that mental illness does not mean the end of someone's ability to live, work and love; and that if one cannot overcome it, one can learn to live with it. Basically, it's what anyone studying psychology or psychiatry, such as myself, preaches everyday, and seeing that in a drama was awsome! Apart from its premise, what also makes this show great are the amazing interactions between all characters, who seriously care for one another and help each other work on their issues (which everyone have, no one is spared), and the perfect blend of comedy, romance and a little intrigue, surrounding the story of the male lead and his family. The main love story is mature and real, and so are the characters. The ending is amazing too. On the down side, the characters were too real, sometimes getting on your nerves, and working in a psychiatric hospital myself, I knew that the problems of the main characters were delt with too much optimism, too easily. But that's nothing to challenge all the good that the drama has, and all that it represents. I wish more similar shows come out.

THE ACTING
Well, I was in love with Jo In Sung since That Winter and dying to see him again. This new appearance was fabulous, even better than in his previous drama. Gong Hyo Jin I knew could act well, but I hadn't been able to like any of her dramas before. Now I feel like I can do her justice. Both of them had a crazy amount of chemistry - I guess that was a must, giving all the 'sexy' scenes they had to do - but really, all actors (who were all great) had lots of chemistry, as if they had been friends for years. The cast was well chosen.

THE MUSIC
Perfect for the show, and somewhat innovative. It was giving it a vibe that was quite different from other dramas. Several songs were in English, and though independently from the drama I didn't like many of them, I know at least one will find its way to my mp3 - I just need to google it first.

REWATCH VALUE
I give myself a month. By mid-October, this will be rewatched. And by next September, maybe twice?

Its so easy to give this drama a high rating. Speaking of a unique, new & fresh story. It was well-written and well-executed by the actors. Since I have been watching kdramas for many years now, I guess it gets a little boring when stories sometimes were just recycled and give you same old story so I'm a sucker of a drama that is a breath of fresh air.

At first, I have a lot of confusion maybe because I don't have any medical background so I don't expect myself to understand all these medical conditions but as you go along every episode, it all make sense and it all come together that you'll tell yourself: "Ah, that's why." That makes the writer a genius. To be able to make the viewers understand something that is unfamiliar and make them relate to it is pure genius.

The actors were the best. I love them all. Gong Hyu Jin has made it to one of my all time favorite female celebs. Talking about chemistry, this two makes all the actors and couples a run of their money. So natural, so realistic you'd think they're a real couple. They are just the real deal. IF they have another drama together, I will definitely won't think twice.

The best part of the story ~ the end. You won't ask for a better ending of this story. Just simple but it was fit perfect.

Hm... how should I word this....

I'm not going to say it's the best drama ever. I'm not going to say that nothing else will ever be able to compare to it. But I will say this: I certainly won't forget it.

A lot of kdramas have this otherworldly feel to them. More often that not they've got these fantastic storylines and plot twists, and though I can easily relate to the characters in those situations it's just...not the same as with It's Okay, That's Love. There's something about this drama which is really REAL. There's no big-short CEOs or vindictive mothers or Cinderella stories. It's just genuine.

The Plot:
- Really develops into something I never realised would happen
- It's believable
- It ropes you in

The Characters:
- Are very easy to relate to
- There's no-one who felt two-dimensional
- Each one of them is interesting in their own unique way making them a joy to watch as the plot unfolds!
- They grow!

The Music:
- Isn't the greatest but it matches the moods very well
- There's quite a range of different songs (I'm pretty sure a few of them were sung completely in English)

Rewatch Value:
- Hm...I probably would rewatch it in a year or two.
- I personally don't often like rewatching things too recently and with this drama in particular what mattered the most to me was knowing where all the characters ended up. I know that now, so I need a bit of time to let it all fade somewhat! I'm sure it'll make me laugh to remember where they all were and what they all were like right at the start though.

So WATCH IT!!!!!!!

Honestly I dragged this drama out far too long and I regret that - I kept getting distracted by newer, sparkly dramas... However I will certainly never forget this little jewel no matter how long it took me to complete it.

It's Okay It's Love is one of those dramas which totally seems like my type of a drama upon first look. The main reason to watch this drama was Jo In Sung (aka the HOTTEST Korean on the planet). It's been years and Jo In Sung has the same effect on me as ever. His looks mesmerize me and it helps when he is trying to break away from his earlier stereotypical image to venture into more challenging roles. Nothing makes me happier more than seeing this handsome actor exploring newer roles and growing as an actor. Plus he had never done a rom-com before. So of course I had to watch it and love it!

The thing is, I expected to love it as much as I love Jo In Sung but... it wasn't LOVE love that I felt for this drama. I loved it but I wish I loved it more. There were a few issues with the characters and the storyline at times. Some parts were dragged on while others felt too easily handled. It's hard to explain the issues without spoiling it so I won't go into the details.

For me the weakest part of the drama was its execution of psychological problem of the main heroine. She is broken is what we understand but her struggle seems poorly handled after half the drama was done. They should have devoted equal amounts of time for the male and female leads instead of focusing entirely on the male. However, since Gong Hyo Jin played her character well I cannot complain any further. Guess who else shined in this drama? None other than D.O.!! I love Exo and I was thrilled to see him as a cute fan of Jo In Sung but after a few episodes- just wow. He was so important to the entire story!

The relationships between all the characters are handled well in the drama. I loved them all staying as roomies and what happens while they inhabit the same place. The sunbae, the two brothers, the guy pining for a young girl, the family relations- were all wonderful to watch plus the cast did justice to their roles.

The OST of the drama is a must-listen. The songs are so wonderful to listen to. I highly recommend listening to the tracks by Davichi and Chen even if you want to pass up this drama. In the recent times it is the most memorable soundtrack so far.

When it comes to rewatching, I believe this drama is fine. Not the best for a rewatch but maybe a few years down the line I won't mind watching it again. This drama is recommend for fans of psychological dramas.
