Interesting and entertaining
8.5/10 is my rating. This is a 2014 South Korean drama with 16 episodes (65 minutes per episode). Kong Ki-Tae (Yeon Woo-jin) is beyond marriageable age and comes from a wealthy family. Basically the females in the family are like get married to the appropriate female or else. So he strikes up a deal with Joo Jang-mi (Han Groo), the wildest, and, in his mind, most unlikely bride candidate for him - to be his fake intended.Spoiler 🚨 As the male lead, Kong Ki-tae is not incredibly likable, to me at first. He and his best friend just seem like major players who tromp on women's emotions so I wasn't sure I was going to like either of them enough to be the one for the female lead. Although there were times when I was like – can you say drinking problem – with her. There are twist and turns and love triangles. Some enjoyable side stories. It was predictable in a good way yet very enjoyable and worth the watch.

In love with this drama..
Where to start...from start to end i love this drama...Its so refreshing and light drama...
The best thing is there is no 2nd lead syndrom priblem in this drama:p its a fear i have that i will fell in love with the 2nd ml more than ml which will break my heart at tje end..but gong ki tae's character was so amazingly written and acted that i fell in love with him
Jang mi main FL was adorable after a long time i found a gem..she was independent caring naive as well and strong but to look strong she was not talking trash and using curse language or behaving like a gangster...she was my fav character in the show
All other charcters were also.veey good...
So for me it's the best drama..already watcjed it 5 times..whenever i need some relaxing drama i watch this drama...

Romcom Legend
This drama is my first romcom drama that I watch involuntary. Till this day no rom com can exceed this legendary drama tbh. The way romantic and comedy keep balance throughout drama makes it legend. The writer can write real situation that might happen somewhere in someone's family and combine it with comedic and emotional scenes that are pleasing to watch. I wish I could tell how much I love this drama and how the writer make me flutters with Gong Gi Tae and Jo Jang Mi agenda. Even though i watched it couple times i keep flutter and laugh each time. Was this review helpful to you?

Acting:
Yeon Woo Jin oh my god i love him. and now i m going to watch his other dramas.

So cute
I got to this off a recommendation from another show. What a lovely show. Sometimes k-dramas starts off joking amd comical only to end up serious and drama-like. This one is not like that, laughter throughout the episodes. The fl got on my nerves in the beginning, until i realize she might have been the one most intouch with what she wanted. The drinking waa a bit disturbing... she might need help in the long run, but the show was really bubbly and upbeat.I enjoyed 1 song, whenever i heard "Just imagine" i start swaying.
I will rewatch this as i find both ml attractive 😍

it's really heart warming, funny & superfine
the plot is very good & smooth
the idea is about acting real without decorating in front of ur partner & loving him totally with his defects & how to manage problems together by honesty & compromising
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ^_^

A love triangle features prominently, so this show can only be so good in the first place
I need to preface this with a confession: I am extremely allergic to love triangles and pentagrams or whatever you want to call them. I get severe headaches and upset stomach from all the cheating-adjacent shenanigans involved in every single love triangle. Second male leads are what k-dramas add when they don't have enough restraint or creativity and can't trust their ability to make good surrounding drama. This show has at least two full hour-long episodes worth of skippable BS of the side characters being manipulative and awful and the main two for some reason refusing to cut them out of their lives. I particularly hate the chef guy in this show; bro, just go jump in a lake or move to America, I don't want to see a second of you. I wish they released an alt version of this show without all the frustrating love triangle nonsense getting in the way of the main couple's relationship. The main two and the drama with the parents are well done, but the story wastes so much time on awful characters who deserve zero screen time whatsoever. Was this review helpful to you?

Deceit & scheming - what a mess!
Fake relationship and contract marriages are my favourite tropes. I was intrigued by this drama after reading many positive reviews on MDL. Boy was I disappointed! I couldn't stand the immature behaviour so I dropped this series after episode 10.What I liked:
1. The cooking - I like cooking & food scenes from quatro cheese kimchi to samgyetang and fried chicken.
2. Yeo Reum - he has great body and smile. Despite the lie at the start, I liked his character the most. He always thought of Jang Mi's welfare.
3. Jang Mi's kindness.
What I disliked
1. Jang Mi's characterisation - she's too nice until people took advantage of her (Hoon Dong, Gi Tae, Gi Tae's mum, Hyun Hee). Girl, it's OK to decline phone calls especially when you are in loo.
2. Gi Tae's characterisation - he's bland for a male lead. I dislike him for berating Jang Mi whenever she was in trouble even when she was locked in his building.
3. Every character, from Gi Tae' s family to second & third leads, is deceitful and always scheming. The only ok character is Jang Mi's father.
4. Childish behaviour - I stopped after 20 minutes of episode 10 because Jang Mi & Gi Tae still avoided each other. Too much push even when halfway though the series.
Favourite scene
When Jang Mi saved Hoon Dong from embarrassment at the auction
