TL;DR - An interesting, but messed up story with immoral characters, save the FL. If slap-kiss had a spectrum, this would be on the hardcore side. Hmmm where to start...if you already haven't read the reviews of other people, you should know that this is one complicated, twisted lakorn. Due to the subject material in this (particularly the repeated rape) you either really like this drama or you hate it. I'm actually in the middle where I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching the whole thing, but wasn't left with good feelings in the end.
The heart of this lakorn is the characters and their interactions with everyone. You have the ML who is spoiled rotten and has a sad, but unexplained upbringing. No one has really stood up to him or got to him until he meets the stubborn and righteous FL. She doesn't have a good impression of him because he was basically an asshole to her sister, who's also another interesting character. I actually liked the sister more than I thought, I guess because I felt sorry for her. She had an unrequited love for the ML, was harshly rejected, had moved on, only to have her fiance die. I felt like she only had her revenge on the ML to keep on living, which is not a way to go at all but I still sympathized with her. My biggest gripe with her was that she should've been a better sister to the FL and move on from her failed love.
FL's dad is not a good guy either. The dude tried to get with the FL's sister when his wife's body was not even buried yet. I can see why the ML is such a mess-up cuz the father is just abusive to him and only cares about his own feelings. I'm very surprised that the family of his deceased wife didn't cause a ruckus, and actually supported his new marriage which is quite frankly unrealistic. The mom of the FL is crazy too, always sympathizing with the male lead even though he's clearly abusing her daughter...
I liked the second half of this drama more than the first. That's where I felt things picked up quickly and the meat of everyone' issues was laid out to bare. I enjoyed how the FL made the ML work extremely hard to prove himself (like he should) and loved that she was set on moving on with her life without his (or anyone's) help. I didn't really feel like this was a love story; more like a redemption journey for the ML. When the FL took him back, I didn't feel like it was because she loved him, but because she wanted to give him another chance. I did feel like their coupling was well thought out and worth fighting for, so I never felt cheated that they got together "just because".
Don't remember the music and isn't something I'd re-watch. Would recommend if you want to watch a good melodrama.

what a drama
This drama is absolutely for people who are obsessed with toxic relationships. Obviously, everyone's preferences are different. The storyline was pour and too violent, literally the female lead was treated so bad by the male lead only to get some kind of revenge to her sister. I don't think that anyone can defend this.
Sometimes I can't understand why most of the Thai dramas are so toxic. I used to think that those dramas were cool, but after sometime I understood that this was wrong.
In every slap-kiss Thai drama the female lead will always forgive the male lead after every bad thing he have done to her.
I wouldn't recommend it honestly, but if you really want to watch it I am not going to stop you

Intense
I always see this lakorn in recommendations when it comes to jealousy, possessiveness, abusive and obsessed. I think that these words really fit the main guy's character. Like literally. He's the real definition of every words stated above. I am still confused when did the main girl fall in love with the guy. How, when, and why. She was kidnapped, threatened, blackmailed, and raped by him and she still has the time to fall in love with him? This is by far the most ridiculous plot ever. It's a shame because the acting of the main leads were really great and on point. Was this review helpful to you?

I wish she would’ve ended his life
Ok. The actors were great. The story? What the heck!! He tortured, assaulted, abused, and GRAPED the female lead MULTIPLE TIMES…..
I would’ve preferred a revenge plot where she ENDS HIM!! He was an evil evil evil person, felt no remorse…. And just because he changed later on doesn’t clear what he did to her. I hate him so much!!
Castration would’ve been a better ending… just saying.
If you are capable of looking past his HORRIBLE actions, then it was an ok show,,. Wouldn’t recommend it because I was just absolutely disgusted in the male lead. Love the actor tho.

Rape must not be romanticized.
now, I watched this lakorn for one thing: the acting. the actors and actresses did so well, be it the main leads and the supporting characters themselves. Ken portrayed Kawee so effectively, I badly wanted to reach my hand inside the screen to wring his pathetic neck for being an A grade asshole.I'll go directly with the main male lead character, Kawee. the only words I could describe him is this: bitch. He's basically a bitch. He's a whinny, spoiled rotten rich kid with a major daddy issues and deep-rooted insecurities who always blames other people for his misery when in fact, majority of those things happened due to his own doing. Yes, Narin's sister is a bitch in her own right as well for staging that fake scenario that made his father hit him---but what I totally despised the most is that he unleashed his anger and resentment towards the wrong person. He kidnapped Narin, made her suffer and the most abominable thing he did that half of the Thai lakorn douchebag male lead's do: rape the female lead. He repeatedly did that, even tying her up so she could not escape.
those scenes where he threw her into the sea just because she won't bend on his manipulative ass even if he's the one in the wrong, tied her to the poolside and let her get soaked in the rain. not only that, he continuously insults her anytime he likes. and before I forget, the scene that made my blood boil so much is when He slapped Narin just because her older sister slapped him, too. He was so fucking childish that I wish his hand will be paralyzed so that he can't use it to harm the female lead again.
and anyone could argue with me, but him being neglected as a child does not give him the right to hurt other people---specially those who didn't do him anything wrong at all, like what he did to Narin. He's a psycho and him having a redemption does not cover up the fact the beastly things he did. He sexually assaulted her and he didn't showed any remorse. He was cocky, entitled and downright arrogant.
If this is real life, He could've ended in jail for domestic violence, abuse, kidnapping, illegal detention and rape. but since this is fictional and a lakorn at that , he got away with his crimes and even ended up having a baby and married the FL character. but in real life, a victim like Narin will never end up with her perpetrator.
this is why I said in the headline that rape MUST NOT BE ROMANTICIZED. AT ALL. Just imagine the trauma a victim feels and is going through when they were abused and their purity and dignity was forcibly taken from them.
Narin, on the other hand was amazing. She wasn't a doormat unlike the other lakorn female leads. She knows how to fight back and her sharp-witted words puts Kawee in his place. She's not afraid to talk back to him, pissing Kawee even more. He constantly hurts her, but she remained strong.
If I were the director or the writer of this series, I'll send Kawee to jail and the Narin to an expert Psychologist, to help her get better.
It's the acting that made me watch this one until the last episode. Other than that, there's nothing worth to watch it Amall.

This could have been enjoyable but I couldn’t honestly enjoy this. This is most certainly not a slap/kiss series. This guy literally abducted her outside the home. Dragged her to a remote place, tortured her and repeated raped her. And because he grew fond her, they all lived happily ever after. I can accept a little aggressive but what this man did turned my stomach. I’m not exaggerating. Imagine a female getting rapped and tortured repeatedly and then decided oh, I think I love him, trash. What I liked about the series was that it was short and the acting.
