In 2010, he and IU sang a duet together called "I Believe In Love" for a popular Korean charity show, "Love Request", where he went to the slums of India and Sri Lanka and witnessed their living conditions. The duet was written about the diary that Seung Ho had written while he was overseas.
He started his mandatory military service in March 2013 and returned on December 4th, 2014.
He has been working agent-free ever since he left Story J company at the end of 2021. On March 2, 2022, YG Entertainment confirmed that he had joined YG Entertainment. He parted ways with YG Entertainment after his exclusive contract ended in March 2025 and signed with a new agency called 333.
