Jung Ryeo Won is an Australian singer, dancer, actress, and former member of CHAKRA (샤크라). She was born in Seoul but emigrated to Australia in 1991 with her family and has Australian citizenship. She encountered discrimination, which made her determined to become fluent in English. She graduated from MacGregor State High School.

She returned to South Korea as an exchange student for one year while she was attending university, and during that time, she was discovered by Lee Sang Min, who offered her the opportunity to debut as a singer. She accepted and dropped out of university.

She made her debut in February 2000 as CHAKRA's main dancer, vocalist and center with the single "Han" that they presented in the show "Music Camp". The next month, they released their first full album, "Come A Come", and were managed by Cream Entertainment (크림 엔터테인먼트). The group swept the rookie awards at different ceremonies as their album was a hit due to the influence of Indian music in their concept.

Later, they reached peak popularity in mid-2001 when their second album "Chakra'Ca" focused on an African-themed concept and managed to win several prizes. But, original leader Im Sung Hong (known professionally as Eani) decided to leave the group and a new member was added the following year. Their next two albums were also commercial successes and brought many accolades to the group.

However, by early 2004, Cream Entertainment began facing severe financial difficulties, which delayed their fifth album, and she opted to leave the group to focus on her acting career before they ultimately disbanded in mid-2006.

She is now focused on her acting career, which has earned her several awards and recognition. She is represented by Blitzway Entertainment (블리츠웨이엔터테인먼트).
