On July 14, an SBS representative told OSEN, "Agent Kim Reactivated will air two special episodes. The specific content is still being planned, and we will provide further details later."

Accordingly, following the drama's finale on July 25, two special episodes of Agent Kim Reactivated will air on July 31 and August 1.

Agent Kim Reactivated follows an "ordinary" father who becomes the "most dangerous" man in the world as he fights to save his one and only daughter. So Ji Sub plays the lead role. Episode 6, which aired on July 11, recorded a 22.3% nationwide rating, the highest among miniseries aired this year.

In addition, Agent Kim Reactivated is rewriting the history of SBS Friday-Saturday dramas. Episode 6's 22.3% nationwide rating surpassed the previous records set by hit SBS Friday-Saturday dramas, including The Fiery Priest (22.0%) and Taxi Driver 2 (21.8%). It remains to be seen whether the show will surpass The Penthouse 2 (29.2%).

The SBS thriller also topped Netflix Global Top 10 with 10.5 million views from June 29 to July 5, ranking for two consecutive weeks. The K-drama ranked in the Top 10 in 79 countries, including Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Germany, Egypt, South Africa, Bangladesh, India, Jordan, Kuwait, Australia, and more.

Considering the buzz around the series, SBS plans to ease viewers' disappointment over the drama's short 10-episode run with two special episodes. While the exact format has yet to be decided, the announcement alone has already heightened excitement among Agent Kim Reactivated fans.
