Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Bae Suzy shared more behind-the-scenes details about her recent Netflix K-drama, Genie, Make a Wish.
On October 15, Bae Suzy spoke with the media about her recent Netflix K-drama, Genie, Make a Wish, addressing both the series itself and her relationship with Song Hye Kyo, including details of the cameo.
When asked about working with Song Hye Kyo on her Genie, Make a Wish cameo, Bae Suzy shared her feelings, "While filming for the K-drama, I wasn't close with her yet, so I was really nervous. It was an honor to work with her, and I'm very happy that we got close after filming. Since then, whenever it rained, I thought of Genie and asked her, 'Are you upset, unnie?' and she found that funny."
Genie, Make a Wish marked the first time Bae Suzy and Song Hye Kyo worked together. Song Hye Kyo filmed her special appearance in Dubai last year and reportedly did not accept a fee for the cameo. She made this first-ever cameo to support writer Kim Eun Sook, with whom she previously worked on the K-dramas The Glory and Descendants of the Sun.
Even before Genie, Make a Wish premiered, Bae Suzy and Song Hye Kyo had been showing off their friendship on social media. The two have met several times, and just this month, they celebrated Bae Suzy's birthday together.

Next year, Bae Suzy is set to star in two upcoming K-dramas. She is set to make her official debut on Disney+ with the K-drama Delusion alongside Kim Seon Ho, Huh Joon Ho, Choi Hyun Wook, and Kim Young Kwang. She will also return to tvN with the upcoming web novel-based series Men of the Harem.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo is set to make an official grand comeback to K-dramas through the upcoming series Show Business. She will work with Gong Yoo, AOA's Kim Seol Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Lee Ha Nee, and Kim Jeong Woo in the upcoming Netflix K-drama.
