Lee Chae Min and Roh Yoon Seo are set to reunite in a youth drama three years after Crash Course in Romance.

On July 29, tvN announced that the two will lead the drama My Reason to Die (literal title), which is scheduled to air next year.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the series follows a man who becomes trapped in an unending time loop in order to save the woman he loves, and a woman who defies fate to protect him.

Lee Chae Min will play Cha Gyeol, a man who repeatedly dies and returns to the past in an unending cycle in order to save Nam Ji Oh.

Roh Yoon Seo will star as Nam Ji Oh, a promising taekwondo athlete with dreams of winning an Olympic gold medal. Gifted with unwavering determination and an upright character, she fights against fate to protect Cha Gyeol.

The screenplay is written by Kim Sol Ji. The drama will be co-directed by Choi Jung Gyu, known for Netflix's The East Palace and tvN's The Devil Judge, and Kim Hee Won, whose directing credits include tvN's Soundtrack #1, Queen of Tears, and Tempest.

The project also reunites director Choi Jung Gyu and Roh Yoon Seo following The East Palace.
