'A Shop for Killers Season 2' teases fierce showdowns and stylish action in new stills
Singer and actor Doh Kyung Soo is considering starring in a zombie-themed production.
On July 16, Doh Kyung Soo's agency, Blitzway Entertainment, told Newsen regarding his potential appearance in the new drama We Are the Zombie (literal title), "It is one of the projects he is currently reviewing."
Inspired by the webtoon of the same name, We Are the Zombie is set inside a massive shopping mall that is placed under lockdown after the outbreak of a mysterious virus. Instead of centering on battles against zombies, the series follows the people stranded inside as they navigate life together, highlighting resilience, healing, and hope in the midst of the crisis.
According to reports, Doh Kyung Soo has been offered the role of Kim In Jong, a young man who finds himself caught in the zombie outbreak after visiting the mall with his friends. Having taken on a variety of part-time jobs to get by, Kim In Jong dislikes anything overly troublesome, but beneath his laid-back attitude lies an unexpectedly kind and warm-hearted personality.
Previously, Doh Kyung Soo earned praise from viewers for his compelling performance as the unhinged villain Ahn Yo Han in the Disney+ original series The Manipulated.
