Chinese mystery thriller The Truth is confirmed to premiere on February 3.
The C-drama centers on the Criminal Technology Division of Yunxi City, as they crack several difficult cases using technical methods such as forensic examination and psychological analysis. The team includes all kinds of officers, including an overseas-returnee technical expert and an undercover policewoman, as they carry out their investigations under the guiding principle of "decoding death and safeguarding the dignity of life."
The Criminal Technology Division of Yunxi City is a hotspot for the locality's major and bizarre cases. The investigation team, led by Section Chief Chen Guoxian and composed of Si Yuan Long, Ye Qian, Leng Qi Ming, Wan Jin, and intern Wu Dan Qing, is a unit of young and professional elites.
Adept at reasoning and skilled at analyzing human nature, the team consists of an overseas-returnee specialist who can deftly wield a scalpel and carries a gentlemanly air, a policewoman with beauty and a tough demeanor, an intern policewoman who is sensitive and the obedient "good girl" type, an old-school, shrewd veteran officer who guides the young, and a slick young man who makes people laugh.
Upholding the mission of "decoding death and safeguarding the dignity of life," they each employ their own unique skills to perform their respective duties and, time and again, solve strange cases.
As they solve these baffling cases, they come to see into people's hearts and true nature, and strive to uphold justice.
