Wuxia drama Blood River is coming on October 20.
The drama is adapted from Zhou Mu Nan's novel of the same name. It revolves around Blood River — the most feared assassin guild in the martial world, run by the Su, Mu, and Xie clans — whose leader is on the brink of death.
The patriarch (leader) of Blood River, the top assassin guild in the martial world, is on the brink of death. The leaders of the three clans that run the guild, each seeking to seize power, dispatch assassins to eliminate him. Thus begins a race against time, one that will determine both life and death and the future of the guild. Su Mu Yu (Gong Jun), the leader of Spider Shadow, is reluctantly drawn into the struggle for succession. To uphold their respective beliefs, he and his close friend draw their swords against each other.
Starring alongside Gong Jun are Peng Xiao Ran as Mu Yu Mo, Chang Hua Sen as Su Chang He, Yang Yu Tong as Bai He Huai, Snow Kong as Mu Xue Wei, and Zhang Shi An as Tang Lian Yue.
