Kim Min Seok and Lee Hyun Wook clash in a bloody fight in 'Shark 2: The Storm'
TVING original Series Way Back Love unveiled stills featuring Gong Myung in his role as Kim Ram Woo.
Way Back Love is a fantasy drama that follows Jung Hee Wan (Kim Min Ha), who has lost the will to live and is living in isolation, as she reunites with her childhood friend, Kim Ram Woo (Gong Myung), now a grim reaper.
The drama was invited to the On Screen section of last year's Busan International Film Festival.
The newly released stills give a glimpse of Ram Woo from the past and the present. In the first still, he dons a school uniform, notably wearing Hee Wan's name tag.
In the next still, he can be seen dressed in black as a grim reaper, a different image from the one in his school uniform. Unlike his calm conduct in the past, his noticeably brighter demeanor raises intrigue about his untold story.
Way Back Love marks the actor's return to the small screen after his military service. The character he plays, Ram Woo, is a quiet and introverted model student whose only source of excitement in life used to be playing board games with Hong Seok (Jung Gun Joo). However, he begins to change a little after meeting Hee Wan, who is always caught up in the chaos of her busy life.
Gong Myung shared, "As soon as I read the script, my heart felt warm and fuzzy, and I found Ram Woo and Hee Wan so lovable." He described the drama as "a work that is cute, lovable, and even heart-wrenching."
Regarding his co-star Kim Min Ha, he praised her versatility, stating, "She is an incredibly multifaceted actress, capable of portraying everything from loveliness to darkness. On set, just looking into actress Min Ha's eyes made me believe in every situation, which was a truly amazing experience."
Way Back Love will premiere on April 3. News about the K-drama's global OTT platform is yet to come.
