Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young is making her debut in Hollywood!
The Hospital Playlist's main leads will reportedly support Resident Playbook through an OST.
On March 24, various media outlets reported that Mido and Falasol, the Hospital Playlist band, will lend their voices to an OST for Resident Playbook.
Actors Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do, the members of Mido and Falasol, will reunite to sing a new OST together. It has been four years since Mido and Falasol last lent their voices to an OST, making this a significant comeback.
Aside from the possible OST, reports indicate that Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, and Ahn Eun Jin, cast members of Hospital Playlist, will also make cameo appearances in the upcoming spin-off, Resident Playbook.
Resident Playbook is a spin-off of the hit K-drama Hospital Playlist, which premiered in 2020. The K-drama was loved by local and international viewers for its heartwarming stories and memorable OSTs.
Resident Playbook will reveal the real-life stories, friendships, and struggles of professors and residents at a university hospital. The K-drama will focus on the obstetricians and gynecologists working at the Jongno Yulje Hospital.
The K-drama will be the joint work of director Lee Min Soo (The Secret House and Good For You) and writer Kim Song Hee. The original team of Hospital Playlist director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung will also join the production of the K-drama as creators.
Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, Jung Joon Won, Han Ye Ji, and Lee Bong Ryun will lead the upcoming K-drama.
Resident Playbook will begin airing on April 12. The K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes. The K-drama will exclusively premiere on tvN and TVING.
