MBC unveils fresh stills from Perfect Crown.
Perfect Crown follows Seong Hee Joo (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything except a royal status, and Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), the king's son who, despite being a royal, cannot have anything, as they set out on a journey to carve their destinies, defying the social statuses that confine them.
In the drama, Seong Hee Joo (IU), the CEO of Castle Beauty, is a woman who lacks nothing — beauty, talent, and wealth — but because the authority of the yangban (aristocratic) class is powerful, she constantly runs up against the social limitations of being a commoner and an illegitimate child.
Then there is Prince Yi An (Byeon Woo Seok), a royal beloved by the Korean public thanks to his looks and innate dignity, yet his position as the royal family's second son obstructs him from shining or raising his voice.
When Seong Hee Joo and Prince Yi An suddenly announce their marriage, the 21st-century constitutional monarchy of Korea is thrown into upheaval. With their unexpected union likely to spark speculation about the nature of their relationship, newly released photos teasing Seong Hee Joo and Prince Yi An's story are drawing attention.
