Jeon Do Yeon, Park Hae Soo and more confirmed for 'The Great Ok Suk'

tvN has unveiled the cast for its upcoming K-drama!

tvN's upcoming drama The Great Ok Suk, which is set to premiere in the first half of 2027, is a noir that depicts a survival battle between a "thuggish" women's association that is fiercely committed to protecting home prices and a "gangster" boss who is equally determined to push through redevelopment.

Jeon Do Yeon and Park Hae Soo will lead the cast, joined by Kim Sun Young, Kim Geum Soon, Kim Kuk Hee, Woo Jeong Won, Gong Sung Ha, and Baek Hyun Jin. Director Kim Hyung Shik has teamed up with screenwriter Lee Ki Chul.

Jeon Do Yeon will transform into Bang Ok Sook, the powerful figure who dominates the Noble Gold Castle women's association. She will stop at nothing to protect the value of the Han River-view apartment she worked tirelessly to obtain. When housing prices begin to fluctuate because of redevelopment in a nearby neighborhood, she personally takes the lead on a plan to derail the project.

Standing opposite her is Park Hae Soo. Park Hae Soo plays Yoon Tae Woong, a "gentle gangster" who is constantly surrounded by all kinds of rumors and a redevelopment expert with a 100 percent success rate. After quickly moving a redevelopment project stalled for 10 years into tangible progress, he comes into direct conflict with Bang Ok Sook and the Noble Gold Castle women's association.

Kim Sun Young plays Lee Ho Young, whose daughter ranks first in her school and whose husband is a social affairs reporter, creating a subtle rivalry with Bang Ok Sook. Kim Geum Soon plays Yoon Ji Ae, the head of the women's association who takes the lead in driving up property values at Noble Gold Castle.

Kim Kuk Hee plays Oh Ji Hee, a self-proclaimed financial investment expert who trusts her own instincts but is actually a "jinxed investor" with a knack for losing money. Woo Jung Won joins the cast as Do Do Hee, who may appear indifferent but has an unusual affection for the women's association, while Gong Sung Ha plays social media influencer Kim Ye Ri.

Baek Hyun Jin appears as Gu Myung Hwan, Lee Ho Young's husband. He will work alongside Kim Sun Young as a married couple while also helping the women's association derail the redevelopment project.

The Great Ok Suk will premiere in the first half of 2027. Stay tuned!
